gaining a First Class degree in Music from the University of Leeds before moving down to the capitol to train in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music. She has since worked as a performer and creative in theatre, film and in concert and will be releasing her first original solo artist material in 2021, blending her love of various strands of pop and jazz genres.
Lara’s singing background includes pop, rock, jazz, blues, swing, RnB, folk, musical theatre, musical comedy and classical operatic styles. She was the Co-Creator and Musical Director of the London vocal group, Belt Up A Cappella (featured on SkyOne’s Sing: Ultimate A Cappella), was featured as a comic singer on Channel 5’s panel show, Comedy Bigmouths, and is the Creator/Musical Director of LBQ female a cappella group, The Syncing Violets.
More recently as a writer, Lara has joined the writing team for Sony AMG-signed pop artist, EnEyeCee has worked on various song collaborations for pop and EDM styles, and is the Co-Writer of the new upcoming comedy musical, Bird Brigade (Lara de Belder & Luka Antony Bjelis).
